National Sports First Aid Happening This November

With the dark November nights well and truly upon us, most of us will be swapping our outdoor activities for indoor ones instead, why not a national sports first aid course? So why not make your time spent indoors, avoiding the dark, cold nights as productive as possible by learning a new skill that could genuinely save a life.

What is First Aid Training

First Aid is the initial process of assessing and addressing the needs of someone who has been injured or is in physiological distress. The first few moments after a person is injured or becomes unwell are absolutely critical and could ultimately be the difference between life and death.

Therefore, learning this life saving skill will give you the confidence to act if you are ever in the unfortunate situation where someone, either a stranger or worse, a loved one was to fall ill.

And just in case you need any more reasons to learn this skill, many occupations actually require you to have it by law, such as childcare providers, coaches and personal trainers, flight attendants, construction workers, electricians, lifeguards and many more. It also looks great to have on any CV as every office will have a designated first aider on site.
